1. Who we are

Snitch is operated by Snitch Labs ("we," "us," or "our"). By using Snitch at snitchlabs.io, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. What Snitch does

Snitch is a privacy-first AI chat platform. It anonymizes personally identifiable information (PII) from your messages before sending them to an AI model (Claude, operated by Anthropic), then restores your real data in the response. The goal is to let regulated professionals use AI tools without exposing sensitive client data.

3. Your account

You must create an account to use Snitch. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your login credentials secure
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Ensuring the information you provide is accurate

You must be at least 18 years old to use Snitch.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Snitch is a paid subscription service. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis. All plans include a 7-day free trial. Prices are listed in USD.

• Solo: $35/month
• Team: $79/month
• Firm: $299/month

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months.

If your usage exceeds your plan's included message limit, overage charges apply at $0.10 per additional message. You will not be charged overage without prior notification in the product.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Snitch to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Process data you do not have the right to process
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or circumvent the PII anonymization layer
• Use the service for any purpose that could harm others
• Share your account credentials with others outside your plan

6. Data and privacy

Your privacy is central to what Snitch does. The key points:

• The PII token map that links anonymized tokens to real data exists only in your browser session. It is never sent to our servers or stored in any database.
• We collect account information (email address) and subscription data for billing purposes.
• We do not sell your data to third parties.
• Messages processed through Snitch are sent to Anthropic (Claude) in anonymized form. Anthropic's own terms and privacy policy govern their handling of that data.

7. Intellectual property

Snitch and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Snitch Labs. You retain ownership of any content you create using the service.

8. Disclaimers

Snitch is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that:

• The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• All PII will be detected and anonymized in every case
• The service meets the specific compliance requirements of your industry or jurisdiction

You should consult with a qualified legal or compliance professional to determine whether Snitch is appropriate for your specific regulatory context.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Snitch Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Snitch, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved in the applicable courts of the United States.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via a notice in the product. Continued use of Snitch after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
